Karen Solano is a bilingual educational neuropsychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting children, families, and schools. She earned her degree in Psychology and later completed a master’s degree in Neuropsychology and Education, with advanced training in learning disorders, inclusion, and socio-emotional development.
Her work focuses on understanding how children learn within real-world academic environments and supporting their cognitive, emotional, and educational needs. She specializes in assessment and intervention for learning differences, as well as the development of individualized educational plans and inclusive strategies.
Karen provides guidance to help clarify learning profiles, support academic progress, and promote overall child development across school and home settings.
Karen has extensive experience working within school systems in both academic and leadership roles. She currently serves as an ORC Learning Specialist, where she supports student learning, inclusion processes, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Her background includes roles as an educational neuropsychologist in private practice, preschool director, academic coordinator, school psychologist, and classroom teacher across early childhood and elementary levels. This experience allows her to understand student needs from both clinical and educational perspectives.
