EEG Neurofeedback & Brain Mapping

EEG Neurofeedback and Brain Mapping are non-invasive, data-informed services that help us better understand and support brain functioning. At Neurokids Center, these tools are used to identify patterns of brain activity and guide individualized, targeted interventions aimed at improving self-regulation, attention, emotional control, and overall cognitive efficiency.

Brain mapping (qEEG) allows us to observe how different areas of the brain are functioning, while neurofeedback uses this information to support the brain’s ability to self-regulate. These services are integrated within a broader clinical framework and are never used in isolation, ensuring that recommendations are grounded in each child’s developmental, cognitive, and emotional profile.

Brain Mapping (qEEG)

Brain mapping involves the recording and analysis of brainwave activity to identify patterns associated with attention, regulation, processing efficiency, and connectivity. This information helps clarify how a child’s brain is functioning and supports individualized planning by identifying areas that may benefit from targeted intervention. Brain mapping does not provide a diagnosis on its own but serves as an additional source of information to complement clinical evaluation.

EEG Neurofeedback

EEG Neurofeedback is a training-based intervention that uses real-time feedback to help the brain improve self-regulation. Through repeated sessions, children learn to strengthen more efficient brain activity patterns associated with attention, emotional regulation, and behavioral control. Neurofeedback is a non-invasive process and is tailored to each child’s unique brain profile and clinical needs.

Who May Benefit

EEG Neurofeedback and Brain Mapping may be helpful for children and adolescents who experience challenges related to attention, emotional regulation, executive functioning, anxiety, behavioral regulation, or neurological differences. These services are often used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan rather than as stand-alone interventions.
