Targeted interventions at Neurokids Center are individualized, evidence-based services designed to address specific areas of need identified through evaluation and clinical observation. Our interventions focus on strengthening skills, supporting regulation, and improving functional outcomes across home, school, and social environments. Services are tailored to each child’s neurodevelopmental profile and integrated within a comprehensive, goal-driven treatment plan.
Neurorehabilitation services are designed to support children with neurological, developmental, or medical conditions that affect cognitive, motor, emotional, or behavioral functioning. At Neurokids center, we offer Cognitive Remediation Therapy (CRT), a behavioral training intervention designed to improve cognitive skills like attention, memory, executive function, self-regulation, and processing skills in children with neurodevelopmental disorders. By combining computer exercises with strategy coaching, it enhances neuroplasticity and strengthens daily functional skills (academics, social, activities of daily living).
Speech and language therapy focuses on supporting communication skills, including expressive and receptive language, social communication, pragmatic language, and language-based learning. Services are individualized to each child’s developmental level and functional needs and may also address feeding or oral-motor concerns when appropriate.
Individual therapy provides support for emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, coping skills, and social-emotional development. Interventions are developmentally appropriate and may incorporate evidence-based approaches to support children experiencing anxiety, mood concerns, behavioral difficulties, or adjustment-related challenges.
