Neurokids Center now offers remote telehealth CDE evaluations to help families complete autism-related service documentation.
For many families, accessing autism-related services can feel overwhelming. Parents may already know their child needs support, but before services can begin or continue, insurance may request additional clinical documentation.
One common request is a CDE, or Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluation.
A CDE is often used to help clarify a child’s developmental, behavioral, social, emotional, and functional needs. In some cases, insurance plans may request this type of evaluation before authorizing autism-related services, such as ABA therapy or other developmental supports.

At Neurokids Center, we now offer Remote CDE Evaluations for Autism Services through telehealth.
This service is designed to help families complete the documentation process in a more accessible and supportive way.
A remote CDE evaluation may include a review of your child’s developmental history, current concerns, previous evaluations, therapy records, school information, parent interview, and clinical recommendations. When appropriate, the evaluation may also help provide diagnostic clarification and guide next steps for care.
The goal is not only to complete paperwork. The goal is to better understand your child’s needs and help families move forward with the right support.
Every insurance plan is different, and CDE requirements may vary. If your insurance has asked for a CDE to confirm autism-related services, Neurokids Center can help you understand whether this evaluation is appropriate for your family.
